How do you treat your leather products?

Marise bags are made of genuine leather, and should be treated like a living material, to get the optimal look and durability. If your are an equestrian, you are probably use to treating products of leather. At Marise Bags we recommend to use a good quality leather soap followed by a leather balm. 

We like to compare treatment of our products, with how you treat your skin. First you clean then you smear. By using a leather soap you remove all dirt and dust from your Marise bag. But when removing dirt, you also remove important oils from the leather. It is therefor important to use a good balm afterwards. This will keep the leather smooth and flexible, and will protect to leather, so it is more resistant to new adventures.
